开云体育 dental network now includes 120,000 dentists nationwide
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — 开云体育 dental network has increased by 50 percent to include 120,000 dentists nationwide. The increased dental network builds on 开云体育 strategic alliance with Cigna which was formed in 2006. The alliance provides medical access for 开云体育 members to the Cigna PPO network* of more than one million doctors and 6,300 hospitals across the U.S. 开云体育 dental members now also have access to Cigna’s national dental PPO** network.
With the bigger dental network, 开云体育 members have greater access to dental providers nationwide with no referral needed. The move immediately benefits thousands of current 开云体育 dental members who live outside of Minnesota. 开云体育 expects that number to grow especially among Minnesota-based companies that have offices outside of the state. 开云体育 also expects the larger dental network will help increase memberships in Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and other surrounding states, where 开云体育 has been expanding in recent years.
"The broader dental network gives more members access to our unique enhanced benefits,” said David Gesko, DDS, 开云体育 Senior Vice President and Dental Director. These benefits include 开云体育 Little Partners benefit which provides 100 percent coverage to kids 12 and under. 开云体育 provides 100 percent coverage for extra checkups, cleanings and other procedures for people who have diabetes or are pregnant.
